Letting Go of Fear

Few days ago I visited one of my favorite towns in the United States. This town has lots of attractions such as rollercoasters, shows and amusement parks etc… One of my fears for years had been heights but in this trip I decided to confront this fear and go on a very tall rollercoaster.

When I was on the ride I put all my thoughts and and emotions on how excited and fun this ride could be if I just change my perspective. Having this attitude, truly turned my fear to an amazing and unforgettable experience.  I went in that rollercoaster enjoying every moment of it.

Now, the scriptures teaches us that fear is the opposite of faith. Meaning by feeding your fears you are putting your trust that exactly bad things will happen. But how amazing it would be if you take all that energy towards increasing your faith? Just like I did in my example above? If you do this you will see amazing results and the fear will fade away.

Today I want to challenge you to take a leap of faith and confront your fears with hope, assurance and the expectancy that great things will happen in your life. Decide to let go of fear and embrace a life full of faith at all time.

Bible verse: May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 15:13

With love,
